Financial mediation

what will it cost?

At the initial meeting an assessment for legally aided mediation will take place. If you are eligible the Legal Service Commission (LSC) will pay your costs. You will not be charged by Family Matters for this meeting.

If you are not eligible for publicly funded mediation our charges will be explained in detail before you decide to proceed.

Mediation can take between two and four meetings depending on the complexity of your situation. In financial mediation the more information you are able to bring, the more progress can be made.
