family mediation
Separation and divorce are difficult times for families.
The aim of mediation is to help you find sensible, workable arrangements, which, as far as possible, meet the needs of everyone, especially the children. We recognise that mediation can involve other family members for example grand parents.
When the arrangements for children can not be agreed, mediation offers a way of making those decisions. Within the mediation process the children can be consulted and their views taken into account during the discussions. This reassures the children that their views are important to their parents.
Mediation can help improve communication by reducing the chance of misunderstanding and arguments. This is especially important for children as they can be damaged by ongoing conflict.
In order for Child Consultation to take place both parents must agree and careful preparation of both parents and the child will be undertaken.
The service you offer is fantastic and I would like to thank you for the assistance you gave and tried to give.
